Feeling that way? It’s not about having dailies just because they’re in the manual. Real Agile is about optimizing dailies. Here are some tips to help you improve them!
- “Inspect and adapt” discussion for the Team, that focuses on how they are going to organize themselves toward the Sprint Goal.
- Put the focus on what remains, rather that on what’s Done
- Emphasize what’s slowing you down, blocking you or jeopardizing any work item
- If everything is moving as expected, great! Just say “No blockers/No risks/Nothing to share” and move on!
- If your team truly values transparency and agility, your daily stand-up is non-negotiable.
